Life here is all about Prayer Flags and even More Painting Meditation

Hi loving souls

Last week I posted about my days 1 to 13 for the 21 days painting meditation challenge by Whitney Freya. I hope you were able to join the fun. We soaked ourselves in more art and gratitude and the 21 days are now complete but I so love the fluidity of water colors and the 5 minute meditations that the practice continues. You will the yummy pictures at the bottom of this post. 

Also I painted two lovely quick pieces for the Infinite Buddhas of Compassion project. Yes its going strong and we have some lovely souls out there. BTW I painted some prayer flags for the Dancing with your Dreams workshop. So you see the meditative energy continues to move in all corners of my life. 

I painted this water color Buddha without any guidelines or pencil sketch. So visually you may find many many flaws (just like in life) but its underlying energy is so beautiful that you might just want to let it all in. 

This ornamental lotus wanted to be all colorful.

And the days 14 to 21 for the 21 days painting meditation challenge... I love the dance of the OM. The figure 8 has been appearing in my intuitively paintings ever since the 24 hours creativity I undertook. So I suppose it does have some meaning which I shall let the time unfold.

Latest mini Buddha for the Infinite Buddhas of compassion

Hello lovelies

Happy Summer or Winter Solstice depending on where you live. I am so enjoying this energy and am looking forward to some celebrations.

Here is my Buddha for the Infinite Buddhas of Compassion project. It is a 4”x4” painted on wood/MDF. This week I have been sending out compassion to clear off all old energies that no longer serve us for the highest good and also side by side working on my Ganeshas for the 108 Ganesha project.

The Blue Buddha for the Infinite Buddhas of Compassion project

Namaste dear ones

As you can see I have been blogging regularly since the past week because I have been painting and finishing my energy paintings like never before. My soul is vibrating compassion and it is just rocking my studio. And to top it all there are lovely souls joining me on this amazing journeys. I have been creating Buddhas (and Ganeshas for 108 Ganeshas) and it feels divine. 

Here is my latest small piece 4x4 on wood. 

I suppose I am almost done with one more Buddha canvas and have already splashed and sploshed paint on one more canvas. Don't know what that one will turn out to be. A buddha or Ganesha or symbols. I astarted off with Om Mani Padme Hum written of the canvas.

And I also finished this pretty little village for my lovely niece. She adores this already. I had so much fun creating this whimsy village in the Dancing With your Dreams workshop. This lesson was by Cathyb Blateau. I have always adored her houses.  If I was to call it I would call it " Dreaming of a village by the sea"

My Sleeping Buddha has a Klimt effect thanks to Ady Almanza

Lovely souls

My todays Budda is so colorful thanks to Ady Almanza who in turn was inspired by Klimt. Ady had opened up her workshop of Dreaming of Klimt Dolls on her birthday recently for her fans. I always loved her style. Who does not love dolls. She paints these dolls with the most beautiful eyes and expressions I have ever seen. So her little workshop was a sweet sweet birthday present that we so enjoyed. 

However as some of you who are following me now know that I am currently energizing myself with Buddhas and Ganeshas for two lovely projects I decided to use the style for one of my Buddhas. 

I already had this lovely long plywood, with paper and paint and sketch of Sleeping Buddha done on it when I saw her videos. And I loved the look of her final painting so obviously my mind was stuck there. Annnnnndddd this bright little spark made paint the robe in the Klimt style. 

Thank you Ady Almanza for your generous offer. I sent you lots of loving energy and abundance as I created this. 

Don't you love it when ideas work out like this and look great too? I am in love with this Buddha. 

May the light shin on you as you sleep tonight. May you heal and wake up cleansed and energized. May you visit the most beautiful places as you dream tonight.

Buddha finds the rare Gem - Infinite Buddhas of Compassion

Namaste sweet souls

Today I am doing a quick post of a small 4x4" Buddha on wood. The little piece is layered and painted intuitively. While I do my layers and lots of textures (tissue paper in this case) I dont plan if they will become a Buddha or Ganesha or in which particular style. I am loving this balance of being able to work freely but still with a purpose and intent of sending out compassionate energy into this universe. 

This painting reminds me of perhaps the rare gem that buddha found with observing his thoughts (hence the thought bubbles) And the hair was inspired by tangles. 

I resonate with the cleansing of thoughts because thoughts are energy too. And I do keep seeing the 11:11  or 1:11 to keep reminding me to watch my thoughts. I love angels numbers and the way they show up in my daily life. 

I can not thank the Artists enough who have already joined me in this journey to send out beautiful compassionate energy into this world. I am so blessed to be able to walk this journey with like minded souls.

Mix Media - The Buddha in me greets the Buddha in you

Hi lovely friends,

I just finished a Mix Media painting which is a face of a Buddha but the Buddha is more lady like because we are all Buddhas in the making. The painting has come to me in various stages.I had heard of this phrase while I was learning Reiki a few years back. Its a translation of the symbol which means "Hon Sha Ze She Nen"  It means the Buddha in me greets the Buddha in you. I have been to vipassana a few times so for us Buddha is more of a state of mind. And hence it resonates spiritually even more. The Buddha or the spiritual side of me bows or greets the spiritual side of you". Its probably a reminder that I need to realign myself to the spiritual realm more often. The word Namaste is to remind us that when we greet people may be instead of just a casual greeting it can transcendent into something more powerful and meaning full to make this a lovely world. 

The Buddha sketch was done long back in graphite and was waiting in my sketch book to be worked upon at the right time. This Mix Media painting is done on canvas, with a layer of old paper, the garment is tissue. For the face I have used water color and acrylic. For the background I have used a layer of transparent photo ink, oil pastels and acrylic colors. For depth I have added adding charcoal.
