Free PDF for IBOCP and exiting new options on Craftsy.

I have been enjoying the process of making small DIY blog posts as I create and its been fun to share them and spread the love. Some of you may already know I love creating jewellery and by far I have been loving Craftsy to learn a lot. And I enrolled for a new class on Craftsy last week. yay. Its called Wire Wrapped Stones, Crystals and Clusters. I am loving Aga Kruks lessons so far. I have never worked with crystals before so this is going to be fun. I love Craftsy's video quality and the fact that you can take notes online to refer back and that the class is available for life. Takes away the pressure. 

I also enrolled for the  FREE mini class Figure Drawing Atelier class and Painting Flowers in Acrylic class. Yes they do have a whole lot of fine Art workshops too. 

New discovery today. In addition to wonderful online courses and craft supplies, Craftsy also has an independent online pattern store that lets anyone upload and sell downloadable e-patterns with no fee! Yay I had no idea. I have been recently hit by the DIY and tutorial bug. So this could be fun.  

How do you add a pattern to Craftsy and start your pattern store? It’s easy! 

1. Make sure you have a Paypal account. All pattern transactions happen through Paypal, and Craftsy requires that you have a Student, Premier, or Business account in order to sell patterns.

2. Put your pattern in .pdf format. You can’t upload any patterns to the online pattern store unless they’re a .pdf file format, so if they’re currently saved as a Word doc, .jpg, or other file format, you must convert it to a .pdf before you upload it to Craftsy.

3. Include a photo. All patterns must have at least one photo to accompany them, but you can add up to five photos. Colorful, interesting photos tend to work the best for catching our members’ eyes!

4. Fill out the pattern description. We will ask you some basic questions around your pattern making it easier for Craftsy folk to find your pattern and know what your pattern is for. Make sure you have info about your pattern handy for this step.

Latest mini Buddha for the Infinite Buddhas of compassion

Hello lovelies

Happy Summer or Winter Solstice depending on where you live. I am so enjoying this energy and am looking forward to some celebrations.

Here is my Buddha for the Infinite Buddhas of Compassion project. It is a 4”x4” painted on wood/MDF. This week I have been sending out compassion to clear off all old energies that no longer serve us for the highest good and also side by side working on my Ganeshas for the 108 Ganesha project.

I treated myself to one more class at Craftsy called the Epoxy Clay Artistry Class. And there is sale at craftsy and all classes are upto 50%off. I would suggest at least registering at Craftsy so that you receive the yummy offers that they have from time to time. I picked up my class last week for a irresistible offer of under $10. It came in my mail box. That was a huge discount. yay. I love creating jewelry and have dabbled in this medium so look forward to some new techniques.

Some new skills I learnt - Thanks to craftsy

Thanks to my cousin who had a mini table space at her office and my gorgeous jewelery was on display. So I made lots of new stuff. 

I always painted pendants but used to use ready made cords. Then I discovered a new place online to learn some new skills that I always wanted to learn. My favorite place to take workshops these days is CRAFTSY.COM.

I have already taken 3 workshops there and I am more than delighted with their platform for several reasons.  
a) I can watch the videos for ever. They don't expire ever. A big bonus for me. No rush and no need to download and keep and occupy my disc space. 
b) The quality of videos is really very professional. 
c) The instructors are excellent. 
d) The videos are surprisingly viewable without much delay time.

Hello Arty friends

Its been a long time. I hope there is lots of creative energy that is keeping you busy. Well I was busy with a short visit with my folks to catch up with my aunt in Gujarat. It was loads of eating and chatting and laughter and fun.

Now most of you know I love painting but I also love making Jewelry. For the last few months it had taken a back seat because I was not feeling very happy about the finishing of the pieces and hence the beads were lying around and I almost had given up when I discovered this workshop Craftsy Beading with Wire, Chain & Leather Class on Craftsy.com. Candie Cooper was our lovely instructor and I could not help but view all the videos at one go. So now my hand painted pendants can have lovely necklaces to compliment them.

I am now thrilled to bits to know that the site is soon going to have some lovely Fine Art workshops starting soon.
