Breathing some new life into this blog and much more.<p> Hey wonderful friends from around the globe,</p><p>I have neglected this space for very very long. I have been hibernating for more than I would have loved to. So here is how I have decided to shake out of this and revive and relive. </p><p><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; white-space: pre-wrap;">This is my Milestone Birthday Month. And I am celebrating by sending out 50 happy snail mails.</span></p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.2; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; white-space: pre-wrap;">With this I am hoping </span></p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.2; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.2; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">* to bring myself back in the creative flow.</span></p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.2; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">* Bring back the connections I lost with so many of you wonderful folks. </span></p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.2; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px;">* Create new connections. </span></span></p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.2; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">* By sharing my progress I might be able to blog often and reignite my Buddha and Ganesha groups that I have ignored for a while.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; white-space: pre-wrap;">While happy mail originally is like an exchange, I have changed this a bit. There are so many classes that I have not tried. Just watch and watched those videos and not acted upon. So many ideas in my head that have been swimming around. <div style="text-align: justify;">
Dear Arty friends,</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Finishing the sides of a painting is as important as the painting itself. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
There are several ways to finish the sides (I have an old post that I have posted a link to at the bottom)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I usually struggled with painting the sides of my wrapped canvases from time to time. Either it was time consuming. Or I got smudges on the painting. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Until I discovered a simple no BRAINER way of doing it. But until then I struggled even if in a small way. So I just created a short less then a minute video to help any one who could be on the same journey as me.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Happy watching.</div>

And a giveaway - Just like that... <div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<div style="background-color: white; color: #141823; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 15.456px; margin-bottom: 6px;">
<br />
Sweet Friends from all over the world,<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Something that hit me a while back and I did share on FB but it tends to get lost there....</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="line-height: 15.456px;">Every once in a while even after I have completed (even signed a painting...) I may realize a wee bit of tweaking is needed (often a shading or shadow) or there is a tiny flaw or at times a glaring one (OMG how did I miss that) I go ahead and make those changes (I am restless once I see that) And once done it makes a huge difference to my paintings. At times these tweaks just take a few minutes. Sometimes they end up taking a long time because something needs to be wiped off,</span><span class="text_exposed_show" style="display: inline; line-height: 15.456px;"> reworked and needs more patience in between drying of two layers.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span class="text_exposed_show" style="display: inline;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div class="text_exposed_show" style="background-color: white; color: #141823; display: inline; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 15.456px;">
<div style="margin-bottom: 6px;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It feels just like my life when at times I look back see some mistakes I may have made. And a tiny tiny adjustment (sometimes a thought process or a deep rooted belief) later or by being bold and changing a whole lot of it, wiping some old fears, growing wings or changing my outlook, it makes a whole lot of difference in my energetic field which guides my life.<br />
<br />
<span style="line-height: 15.456px;">So every once in a while there is no harm in looking back, or look where you are right now, take stock, grieve, admit mistakes, make changes, laugh at some lessons learnt, breathe in some fresh air, repeat the process over and over. This is life. This is our canvas. We are allowed to Paint our story. Or sing it. Or cook it. Or Knit it. Or scribble it. Or dance it.</span></div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 6px; margin-top: 6px;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Now for the giveaway.... </div>

Sweet Friends<br />
<br />
My Facebook today reminded me of a sweet memory of what I created and shared sometime last year... Fortunately I did have WIP pics this time because I was sending them to my Sister In Law for whom I was making this.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmm4vUiurwTON1hYShI5zLwYFN_9sE0lCQz1ha8B2IA9g_1rIsBQNLRcknfOtlBemIW_tP4qBNYzDnwlfMu6Nitbej8UoFQY52mQMVFsEmwulceuO0eKvLnwY5gQ0ViqVwJs4n1GSUTdE/s1600/20150419_150431_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmm4vUiurwTON1hYShI5zLwYFN_9sE0lCQz1ha8B2IA9g_1rIsBQNLRcknfOtlBemIW_tP4qBNYzDnwlfMu6Nitbej8UoFQY52mQMVFsEmwulceuO0eKvLnwY5gQ0ViqVwJs4n1GSUTdE/s400/20150419_150431_Fotor.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
I am so grateful to every one who has taught me something or the other in life. Not just school or college teachers but also friends and family and situations. So decided to share the process in case some one would love to make one too.<br />
<br />
Here we go.<br />
<br />
This wood cut was obtained from a local store. (Basically you give them a paper cut in actual size and they cut it up in MDF for you. You could also use a thick plain card board if you like... <br />
<br />
Here is the paper cut out.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAZ679-PvZ8RHH4ddLwf3RE1pnHaatmkWqSTXPF5z1JUqCBdPSi6MYErKywRgf1UxfVY1Nf5ZV2oog7hs00X3avlFKctUJf0vKXhUceVlnzLVE0OJylbpOgmC09YTp5wyO0Oiqy13ZvBM/s1600/IMG-20150414-WA0006.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAZ679-PvZ8RHH4ddLwf3RE1pnHaatmkWqSTXPF5z1JUqCBdPSi6MYErKywRgf1UxfVY1Nf5ZV2oog7hs00X3avlFKctUJf0vKXhUceVlnzLVE0OJylbpOgmC09YTp5wyO0Oiqy13ZvBM/s400/IMG-20150414-WA0006.jpg" width="225" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
And the actual MDF board cut and ready...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitG2r8FbL-rGtM4bQpchy4FM174J9QNO6721CZg0akW3t6cAP-a9vArLaIM2VglvAXaOEbuZ8eQTYgnl7zNWrTeySevb5W1kAf2_3zOtxEHh32mvFNRdAJH00zy5fIOfCgc8ByOLeCe18/s1600/IMG-20150424-WA0006_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitG2r8FbL-rGtM4bQpchy4FM174J9QNO6721CZg0akW3t6cAP-a9vArLaIM2VglvAXaOEbuZ8eQTYgnl7zNWrTeySevb5W1kAf2_3zOtxEHh32mvFNRdAJH00zy5fIOfCgc8ByOLeCe18/s400/IMG-20150424-WA0006_Fotor.jpg" width="387" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
First I added a layer of primer so that the wood wont soak away all the colors... (The table is distracting... sorry and its safely covered in plastic) </div>

After it dried I added a full two layers of gold paint. And the black at the bottom of the trophy. Then I fixed some students crayons with the glue gun. Then used a hair drier to melt the crayons to create a small happy puddle of colors...<br />

My sister in law has sent some written words (I think you will find them on the internet) that I printed on ordinary printer (black) ripped the pages at the edges and pasted it with a mat gel medium. Once it dried brushed the page with some gold paint so that it looks like a part of the wood. Painted in some of the letters with some happy colors. Some more squiggles. And circles and a hand painted thank you at the bottom and it was ready.<br />

Hello creative souls<br />
<br />
<br />
Compliments of the season.<br />
<br />
I haven't blogged in a while which means I haven't really shared whats happening around in my world. I go through these phases of silence once in a while.<br />
<br />
But this tutorial has been bubbling for a while and I finally decided to shoot and edit a video. yay to new skills.<br />
<br />
Please be gentle I am not a pro at this.<br />
<br />
This short video will show you how to decorate this glass votive. Its easy, colorful and not expensive at all.<br />
<br />
All you need is<br />
<br />
Glass votives<br />
Glass colours - Solvent based craft variety will do.<br />
3D Glitter tubes.<br />
Some glossy fixative.<br />
<br />
Before you begin<br />
<br />
Cover your work surface with a plastic or wax paper (paper wont do)<br />
Wear gloves.... I dint and well I had to get them out with acetone from my hands.<br />
Keep wipes handy too.<br />
<br />
Here is a snapshot of what I created................<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1yIKnnYS3roYrsmPSRBaoULg9CJC3wAyDOTTO2cGlNIOXj-Vk50TzsrICZuQWPr1PNsIUfjvaZxRgnLsYBlo0XpbT5ihhCKbKzx6JMCgGQQ8Cxu1cPF7uiGCn2dNMnaD_Qa-ZrH2J9e8/s1600/VOTIVE_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="363" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1yIKnnYS3roYrsmPSRBaoULg9CJC3wAyDOTTO2cGlNIOXj-Vk50TzsrICZuQWPr1PNsIUfjvaZxRgnLsYBlo0XpbT5ihhCKbKzx6JMCgGQQ8Cxu1cPF7uiGCn2dNMnaD_Qa-ZrH2J9e8/s400/VOTIVE_Fotor.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>

<br />
Don't just stop here. You can use the same technique to upcycle your glass bottles into a pretty vase or even lamps. The possibilities are endless.<br />
<br />
Here is an old sample of how I had upcycled some wine bottles by cutting off the base. BTW the base of this bottle would make for a nice tea holder too.<br />

Happy creating. I hope you make some pretty gifts or decorate your home with these ideas.<br />

<br />
Hello creative beings<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I absolutely loved this video which is a part of a talk by Ira Glass. It explains a lot of things for us creative beings. Last couple of months saw me re-visiting a lot of my earlier works and re-working them. They were a few touches here and there and that made a lot of difference. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
That's when I knew if I was not releasing some of my artworks because I was in the GAP. I was making good art but I was waiting for that final satisfactory ummmppphhh and then the bold signature came along. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I hope you enjoy this video. </div>
<br />
<br />
<div align="center">
<iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="270" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/3ResTHKVxf4" width="480"></iframe><br /></div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Yes sometimes it felt like I was taking two steps forward and one step backward. Rather than getting frustrated and feeling like I am not moving I decided to take it like a dance and go with it gracefully. And that made everything fall in place. The music had to stop at some time. And I could stop dancing then. And then I can move forward. </div>
<br />
So moving forward this is one more of my pretty art that I released finally. It is one of the sweetest works of art I have created. And I was not ready to let go till it was perfect. Till it told me what it wanted to say. And now its looking for a lovely home. <br />
<br />
Unconditional love is Original Art on Canvas. The hair is beautifully textured with paste it has bits of paper collage on the body. Lots of explosion of colours. And of course love. <br />
<br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello lovey souls</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Its already February. Ever year I feel time seems to be flying faster and faster. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
During one of my tiny creative conversations I had this little chat and I had to grab a pen and paper and write it down. One of those moments. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We can keep waiting and wanting to HAVE a breakthrough but we cant HAVE it. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Because its not a thing that we can HAVE. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We got to GO through it. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
GO breakthrough a barrier to discover Magic. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
GO breakthrough fear to discover the magic of fearlessness</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
GO breakthrough a routine to discover magic of newness</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
GO breakthrough a ritual to discover a another magical ritual</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
GO breakthrough the madness to discover that magical peace</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
GO breakthrough the chatter to discover the magic of silence</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
GO breakthrough that silence to listen to a magical sound.... the sound of silence. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So we cant HAVE breakthroughs. We got to GO and BREAKTHROUGH. Sometimes the smallest of the acts make a huge difference. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So what are we going to go breakthrough this year. I shall discover soon. I love magic. And I believe in magic so its going to be an interesting journey yet again. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Meanwhile here is my latest magical breakthrough. I call it a breakthrough because I usually paint faces. This is way different than what I create and it just came through when I felt a wee bit stuck and all my mind said was just put some paint on your brush and on to the canvas. Paint anything. Just anything. I began with the roots and suddenly it just happened. Just magically. This has stories within stories about The Buddha. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The hand touching the soil is the Buddha keeping mother earth as his witness as soon as he received enlightenment during dawn (hence the sun on the right) The flowing orange robe that he adorned all his life. The seeds depicting thoughts which when given fertile ground will sprout into trees that will bear fruits and the cycle will continue. Hence the importance of the thoughts. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hi gorgeous shining souls</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Heads up. If you don't like the F word. Skip the first para... But don't don't don't skip the post. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So here we go. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Those who know me personally know that I have embraced the F word for the longest of the time. Some people get offended some simply don't mind. I choose to keep it out of my written communication because it somehow does not have the same touch (that word has so many many meanings.... if you have heard Osho speak about this you know what I mean)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So here it is.... C word. The big C. Embrace it. Love it. Practice it. Pray what is that word!!!!!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Its CREATIVE... I am sure most of you guessed it. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My mantra</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you are in any of these moods CREATE</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If people are driving you <span style="color: red; font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">C<span style="color: black;">razy</span></span>......... create</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you feel <span style="color: red;">R</span>age............... create</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you feel <span style="color: red;">E</span>dgy................ create</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you feel <span style="color: red;">A</span>nxious................ create</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you feel <span style="color: red;">T</span><span style="color: black;">er</span>rified ................ create</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you feel <span style="color: red;">E</span>mpty inside............. create.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Simply create. The negative mood will change. And the positive will just enhance. It works like share your burdens and they reduce and share your joys and they multiply. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I believe it works that way because it is a direct communication with the higher self. And that's why it works the way it works. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When I say creative it is not only the paints and brushes. Whatever floats your boat. Paint, Knit, Cook, Write, Sing, Dance. Just be creative. In the flow. Doodle. Scribble. Photography. Basically anything that you can easily make time for daily. Believe me you will find the time. Because the moment you embrace creativity in the tiniest of the manner you start flowing. And that's when you manage to move around quickly and find time. Its self love. Its nurturing. <br />
<br />
Speaking of flow... you might want to check out the <a href="http://whitneyfreya.com/cmd.php?Clk=5363753" target="_blank">Super Soul Flow</a> starting on 17th. Jan 2015. </div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Love love love to all of you who happen to walk into this lovely orbit of mine. I hope you find this inspiring and create more and more. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Wish you a year full of creativity. May you soul be uplifted with all the creativity you bring into your life. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"></span> Hello lovely souls<br />
<br />
Before I get on to the blog hop a peek at my latest work on a box.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: large;">What's this blog hop about?...</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: large;"></span> </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: small;">This blog hop is an ongoing weekly post where in artists are introducing other artists and sharing a little bit about themselves. Its a beautiful way to connect and discover new artists and check out the wonderful Art they are making. </span></span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: small;"></span></span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">A few days ago I was invited by </span><a href="http://www.kaliparsons.com/2014/11/blog-hop-around-world.html" target="_blank"><span style="font-family: inherit;">Kali Parsons</span></a><span style="font-family: inherit;"> to participate in a <span style="color: #2288bb;"><a href="http://www.kaliparsons.com/2014/11/blog-hop-around-world.html" target="_blank">blog hop</a></span>. Kali and I met during an online workshop called </span><a href="http://skyeandstonedreams.com/DancingWithYourDreams/" target="_blank"><span style="font-family: inherit;">Dancing With Your Dreams</span></a><span style="font-family: inherit;">. I love love love the fact that Kali paints daily and blogs daily. I totally enjoy her whimsical artworks and the stories in her blog. Her Art reminds me of happy. BTW Kali is the name of an Indian Goddess. Don't forget to stop by and check out her pretty Art. Here is a picture of her pretty door that she painted. </span></div>

</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"></span> </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Now a little bit about my Art</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"></span><br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span class="null"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><strong>1. What am I working on? </strong>I am currently working on some commissioned Buddha Canvas pieces. Three pieces in 20"x24" to be precise. I never do series so this is a bit of a challenge for me to make them look like they belong to the same family. Besides that I have a few small boxes that are in different stages of completion as of now. My studio always has a few WIP. </span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span class="null" style="font-family: inherit;"><strong></strong></span><br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span class="null"><span class="null"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><strong>2. How does my work differ from others in its genre? </strong>Hmmmm well for once I draw from my imagination, I usually let the brush do the talking, and hence the artworks always tend to look different from others. Plus I try to bring in a little bit of India into the Art like adding a piece of jewellery that looks very traditional. Although when I am learning in a classroom I go by what the teacher is teaching so as to learn the technique but even there I will make it my own. Even if it means making a horizontal artwork instead of vertical. LOL. </span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span class="null" style="font-family: inherit;"></span><br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span class="null"><span class="null"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><strong>3. Why do I create what I do? </strong>Because it keeps me happy, It keeps me alive, it heals me and taches me a lot. I create for the love of creating and as a spiritual practice. </span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span class="null"><span class="null" style="font-family: inherit;"><strong></strong></span></span><br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span class="null"><span class="null"><span class="null"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><strong>4. How does my creating process work? </strong>I usually begin my creative process with a little bit of grounding and cleansing of my own energy. Before I begin I light a small lamp (Diya) on my altar, write a bit like the morning pages, and then begin to work. I totally believe in calling on my unseen friends or angels or muse while creating and a lot of my process involves about breathing in positive thoughts with every stroke. A lot of my paintings are created for Infinite Buddhas of Compassion Project and 108 Ganeshas project. I love creating faces and I love the freedom that mix media art provides. Its liberating and refreshing and goes with my intuitive style of painting.</span></span></span></span><br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello Creative beings</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here is a look at my latest tiny little Ganeshas (4"x4") for the <a href="http://artoholicslair.blogspot.in/2013/11/happy-new-year-as-per-hindu-calendar.html" target="_blank">108 Ganeshas Project</a>. I have been going slow on that one for a while now. I realized I could amp up the energy by trying to sketch a few out. And take it from there. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I had some water color play works from my 21 days meditation challenge. So they were full of vibrant energy. Next I remembered <a href="http://www.juliegibbons.com/" target="_blank">Julie Gibbons</a> class from <a href="http://effywild.com/radiant/" target="_blank">Radiant: Faces</a> where she drew her faces within a circle. Well I had painted on a round canvas already. But this was nice. So I decided to try out something new. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I sketched and painted the Ganeshas within a circle ( I told ya I got rid of the box :)) and once done I used a green chart paper to stick those lovely circles on and a wee bit of yummy border and they look pretty. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And they are already booked by some one who wants to gift them. All 6 of them are going to lovely places. yay. The good thing about these small babies is that I can anytime look back get inspired and work on a larger canvas piece as and when I wished to. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
So here they are. My no 13 to 18 for the 108 Ganeshas project. I would for you to join our little group. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Water colors, Paper, some gel pens and a whole lot of love. Aren't they cute???? I love the fact that we can constantly learn so much from one another. <br />
<br />
And yes no more box no more thinking outside or inside the box. We are creative beings. We are not afraid to paint outside the lines. And that opens up a whole new world for us. With the Ganesha's blessings of course. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

Much love and light</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello happy souls</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
Today is Children's Day.
And those who know me, you know that I don't follow any of these specific days as such. I am usually a go with the flow gal. </div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
But I totally believe every day should be children's day. Every day
we should do something that makes us child like. Every day we need to
keep our inner children alive, heal them, make them happy.
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
Sometimes I feel this day
was not meant for the kids but to remind us to go out and do
something that we loved doing as a child or dint do as a child. Its
not for the kids. They are kids and they do have fun and remain kids
till we keep telling them.... grow up. Of course when we grow up we
want to be like kids again.
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
So this children's day go
out have fun, jump, skip, hop, have an ice cream, climb trees, do
what ever that floats your boat. I dare you... lol. That reminds me I never floated a
boat when I was a kid. Eh. So here is my sketch wishing you all a
Children's day.
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
Its not possible to stay
there all the time. Of course life comes in the way. There will be
dark times. Not all childhoods may have been wonderful for every one.
But there is always a beginning. So yes happy beginnings to finding
our inner child. Find it more often. Play more often. If not more
than at least once a day. And most importantly fear less and believe
in yourself more. Remember those days when our dreams dint scare us?
Yes those...
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
The artwork inspired by a
lesson in Radiant:Faces (Thank you <a href="http://effywild.com/" target="_blank">Effy Wild</a> from the bottom of my heart.)
and taught by <a href="http://joannezsharpe.blogspot.in/" target="_blank">Joanne Sharpe</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
There is lots in this
artwork. Encouraging words, And some subtle hints like.... Question
Marks... we have all forgotten to ask questions like we used to when
we were kids. And yes we need to ask often.</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
So here we go....
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

This is also for some of us artists who get stuck or just when we put too much pressure on ourselves to produce great art always.... which we know is not possible all the time. Let go. Play. Doodle. Sketch. Make that imperfect but joyous art like we used to when we were kids. Paint outside the lines. Go crazy. Put all your energy into that brush/crayon/pencil you are holding. And it will flow. Let your inner child let loose. And just enjoy the process. Create for the joy of creating. </div>

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
Dear Angel hearts<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Diwali here is just around the corner. Homes are being cleaned and spruced up to welcome the Goddess. The festivities include lights, sweets, floral garlands on the doors and a traditional Rangoli at the doorsteps to welcome the goddess.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This is a small tutorial to teach you how to make a reusable Rangoli that can be displayed in infinite ways so you have a new look daily. Its easy to make, totally reusable and made out of materials you probably have at home.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Traditionally Rangolis were made directly on the floor by applying a coat of red mud (The kinds used to make pottery) in a square
shape. Once it dries the square is
further marked with 1” dots that would look like square grids so
one has a guideline to create the free form designs. The outlines are drawn
with the help of white powdered Rangoli and then they were filled in
with colored powdered Rangoli.</div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
These days there is very little time
and space to create these beauties traditionally. So I am going to
show you an easy way to create a quick and easy modern way to make
it. Rest assured it will still look rustic and traditional. And its
portable. You can make it look different each day. Its so simple to
make that you could probably make it a small family craft activity.
</div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I first demonstrated a slightly
different version 3 to 4 years back during a TV show MI Marathi
Channel (Mogra Phulala) which ran a capsule on DIY crafts.
</div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I have been procrastinating about
trying out a slightly different version and sharing it with everyone for long and I decided it had to be done before this
Diwali.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Just an example of what the many possibilities at the end of this tutorial.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaP9noDKNfxl_YOkEqA9usTqHZFrH8Y4CLrpjpAV0tQQrXGeRPEI1eeM_3Apw9QIKHSrTWxU7vkTrkw7zbxJTknsemALCa0tlojvrfba95he3qZERt8JRmiiQrkCyTDCS4K2PCE7tRBog/s1600/options_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaP9noDKNfxl_YOkEqA9usTqHZFrH8Y4CLrpjpAV0tQQrXGeRPEI1eeM_3Apw9QIKHSrTWxU7vkTrkw7zbxJTknsemALCa0tlojvrfba95he3qZERt8JRmiiQrkCyTDCS4K2PCE7tRBog/s1600/options_Fotor.jpg" height="400" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
So here we go.
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
This is what we need</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<ul>
<li><div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">

<li><div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
4 Different Shades of Acrylic
Paints of your choice – I used acrylic shades in Red, Orange, Blue
and Green. The traditional festive shades. In case you are working
with kids even craft paints will do.</div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
</div>
</li>
<li><div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A few round mirrors
</div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
</div>
</li>
</ul>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here is how you we go about it.</div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Leave the Brown cardboard of 12”x12”
aside. We will need that as a background later. In case you are
using a white cardboard just paint it a nice shade of mud brown and
set it aside for drying. I use acrylic paints but you could use any
craft paints that you like.
</div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Next draw two diagonal lines across the
4”x4” squares and the 2”x2” squares and 1 diagonal line on
the 1”x1”squares. This is how how they would look.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdxr_6vFsewzukWTgm_u5dBGX9CnvyH9gGHtDqQsoUs_15nXP5Uj_bts3vWQgva5TrOFPCcESz2HemiO-p8996po0slLC44jcXOEJWBSVxu9_w6bg5VbZDgRchdWpg9YgJsQCwz-lN2z0/s1600/step2_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdxr_6vFsewzukWTgm_u5dBGX9CnvyH9gGHtDqQsoUs_15nXP5Uj_bts3vWQgva5TrOFPCcESz2HemiO-p8996po0slLC44jcXOEJWBSVxu9_w6bg5VbZDgRchdWpg9YgJsQCwz-lN2z0/s1600/step2_Fotor.jpg" height="400" width="336" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Next cut them across the diagonal lines
so we get triangles in various sizes. Here is a photographs of the
tirangles cut and ready. This method will give you even triangles and is a lot quicker</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkK42u0mJ8B3MWB26IB2K815XEWGAYUyDhM_TdHzbEru3sI2A9zRLPNiBlK5wfbTQGtkjorswAGbrtvneWtj6ImDtU_UjKsF2pF_6ozE0IDkQtBt8xzEJbVHEWXf0f7_qH9ChHY1g56ro/s1600/step3_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkK42u0mJ8B3MWB26IB2K815XEWGAYUyDhM_TdHzbEru3sI2A9zRLPNiBlK5wfbTQGtkjorswAGbrtvneWtj6ImDtU_UjKsF2pF_6ozE0IDkQtBt8xzEJbVHEWXf0f7_qH9ChHY1g56ro/s1600/step3_Fotor.jpg" height="298" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
So now we have the following pieces</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>4 large triangles from the 4”x4”
square.</li>
<li>16 medium triangles from the 2”x2”
squares</li>
<li>8 small triangles from the 1”x1”
squares (we drew only 1 diagonal across these) </li>
</ul>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Divide and stack them up as follows so its easy
to start painting in equal numbers.</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhw9C25GTi4OWncdb4F79FswaDeS2td8hxfJYTnyiiak6AzlNT13OM6QKd2_NNoqJ4miiJ5iFL_ThclX2a64FC9O1aXk9ffKcQm765T7oVitPnBe1Ubxqby69GVkTsJnN50sRF2nlbYQGM/s1600/step4_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhw9C25GTi4OWncdb4F79FswaDeS2td8hxfJYTnyiiak6AzlNT13OM6QKd2_NNoqJ4miiJ5iFL_ThclX2a64FC9O1aXk9ffKcQm765T7oVitPnBe1Ubxqby69GVkTsJnN50sRF2nlbYQGM/s1600/step4_Fotor.jpg" height="343" width="400" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>2pcs x 2 sets of large triangles</li>
<li>4pcs x 4 sets of medium triangles</li>
<li>2pcs x 4 sets of small triangles.</li>
</ul>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Once ready start by painting the
background color. The number of sets is the number of colors that you
can work with. Since I worked with only 4 colors I painted them in
this order.</div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Large Triangles 2pcs orange, 2 pcs
Blue,
</div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Medium Triangles : 4 Pcs of Orange,
Blue, Red and Green each.</div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Small Triangles : 2 pcs of Orange,
Blue, Red and Green each.</div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So essentially I repeated the main
large triangle colors for the small and medium triangles sets and
added two more colors for the small and medium triangle sets.
</div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
This is what they look like.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGuqAHQ_TiMOt1yw83ZsWUm7cYZMRodhGwuqh-tLAT1XthnS3Syger30lKF5zy-J8oaqEMK5e2ljT1RsrWPYLFVAUWZJrI8W8pTW01HF9GeOVnrfD6m4HIJs1IZd5mIfQb_97eyYNwk2w/s1600/step5_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGuqAHQ_TiMOt1yw83ZsWUm7cYZMRodhGwuqh-tLAT1XthnS3Syger30lKF5zy-J8oaqEMK5e2ljT1RsrWPYLFVAUWZJrI8W8pTW01HF9GeOVnrfD6m4HIJs1IZd5mIfQb_97eyYNwk2w/s1600/step5_Fotor.jpg" height="313" width="400" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Next I outlined the borders of each triangle
with white 3D paint. If you dont have 3D paint use a brush and white
paint to draw a line or use a gel pen. Outline the 12”x12” brown
cardboard too. You can do double or triple lines if you wish for the brown square piece.Let it dry. This is how my dried pieces look.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJ7tqynqGB11pgMy7nTZGXetD1z8GpYvw6jcpW0KjYrA0mXqLFJxi2INMv2P9T_gfVbzE3I4uw181O2HRZiFeR7PFzB7LvrLNQIAKfoXMm7I46qVwu0-eXFQjcwfVsi8vxVwsSUFyst1I/s1600/step6_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJ7tqynqGB11pgMy7nTZGXetD1z8GpYvw6jcpW0KjYrA0mXqLFJxi2INMv2P9T_gfVbzE3I4uw181O2HRZiFeR7PFzB7LvrLNQIAKfoXMm7I46qVwu0-eXFQjcwfVsi8vxVwsSUFyst1I/s1600/step6_Fotor.jpg" height="400" width="391" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Once the outlines dried I added the
mirrors on the 4 large triangles. Now here is a simple technique to
add these mirrors. I also added the mirrors on the 4 corners of the
brown cardboard.
</div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Step 1 : put a large enough blob of
3D silver glitter in the center of the triangle (pic1)
</div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Step 2 : Gently place the mirror on
top. Never mind the glitter is all underneath and not showing. (Pic 2)</div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Step 3 : use the back of the brush to
gently press down the mirror adjust the mirror firmly into the nicely
formed glitter border. Its easy and you will never go wrong with this
method. And it fixes well. (Pic 3) Leave them to dry</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For the rest of the medium and small triangles I just put a small drop of 3D glitter in the center and let it to dry. Pic 4</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKbk7Y9ArriOYhhNFliAIvQD002b_Du-AFmnHuh_8b9sjtBLquil55q6K1FSoYfx7zXcFGqLVYtTOwd3KfvYhFKIon9ZQgg9BeSrEVBLtsO4t5wYWfGWxEFhZ6fgw66MJTAzMXyzTqn80/s1600/step7_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKbk7Y9ArriOYhhNFliAIvQD002b_Du-AFmnHuh_8b9sjtBLquil55q6K1FSoYfx7zXcFGqLVYtTOwd3KfvYhFKIon9ZQgg9BeSrEVBLtsO4t5wYWfGWxEFhZ6fgw66MJTAzMXyzTqn80/s1600/step7_Fotor.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Let them all dry nicely and its all
ready. The fun can now begin. Start by placing the larger triangles
in the center and work with the medium and small pieces on the
outside. Here are some examples of how I arranged them on the brown
cardboard. You dont need to stick them at all. They will remain in
their place easily.</div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The possibilities are infinite. Just
keep playing and having a new Rangoli or a Mandala Design every day
on your door step or home. And its easy to maintain.
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
Option 1<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHgiL7eJsS-5VB7i45OX3z5rFjwvhF8BdSSDQ42FtuFqsXelGtjl1ImVVcH7K_Ihuv4FzAxk2Zc_OZQRNtE7zuT5x4kMVsnueQD96ubtHD2miJSkmyK8qpYE_hc-RAW90t2sA9jyBh45I/s1600/option1_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHgiL7eJsS-5VB7i45OX3z5rFjwvhF8BdSSDQ42FtuFqsXelGtjl1ImVVcH7K_Ihuv4FzAxk2Zc_OZQRNtE7zuT5x4kMVsnueQD96ubtHD2miJSkmyK8qpYE_hc-RAW90t2sA9jyBh45I/s1600/option1_Fotor.jpg" height="330" width="400" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">

Hello creative souls<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here is my latest Artwork which feels very me. Its a circular canvas and again an intuitive piece of work. On most days my artworks are not preplanned or designed to be painted as multiple pieces (like a sketch, carbon and paint job) They have oodles of layers, marks, drips and wait time, endless staring at what looks like a mess at times while something emerges out of the process that is akin to going deep within. Its a dialogue. Its a communication with the universe. Its pretty. Its ugly. But its necessary. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The results always surprises me. You cant force them. And the downside being sometimes you cant commit to painting within a time frame (suits me). </div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLyaXU9LNDUQGd68tHRPPl6Tg_pBGgl25uWLN7q9JijyfFTNlJCnvTex3TKBnCiQZjzI-cmimpKiNexAaBccXRxXuVjd7x5Ces8ktBzK6H1xAAcD5kln_bUoUt-_ggni_7WVpMkMgeGcs/s1600/TRANSFORM_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLyaXU9LNDUQGd68tHRPPl6Tg_pBGgl25uWLN7q9JijyfFTNlJCnvTex3TKBnCiQZjzI-cmimpKiNexAaBccXRxXuVjd7x5Ces8ktBzK6H1xAAcD5kln_bUoUt-_ggni_7WVpMkMgeGcs/s1600/TRANSFORM_Fotor.jpg" height="400" width="386" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This artwork speaks to me on various level. I have been in my cocoon, hibernating, painting, learning new skills, practicing, breathing and waiting it out and not rushing. And yes sometimes it felt dark and scary to not have a plan or to set aside a plan previously thought upon. And risk it. And yes I color outside the lines, think outside the box.... hell I tore apart the box - no more box - no more thinking outside the box. My art is more spiritual more me. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This original panting is made on a round canvas, with acrylic paints, the dress is a cocoon like finish, the long flowing hair, the lady turning back to find those pretty wings. The dreamy feel to the canvas. What more can I add? I wish the photograph could do justice to the layers and shades and colors. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Today the break I took from my previous career (Out of Home Media), to take on art as a second career and then again retreating in my cocoon to rest seems like time well spent. I paint because I love it. And the process keeps me happy. What a win win situation. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Flowing is good. Staying still is good. As far as you breathe and stay aware and trust in the universe. </div>
<br />
Be blessed.<br />

Check out my Egyptian style face on T-shirt <div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
Hi Angels<br />
<br />
Time flies and we have another blog hop. I am so exited to be a part of this blog hop because it has my favorite topic "Faces". I absolutely love drawing and painting faces. Also I love make overs. So here is a lovely project that I feel you all might enjoy.<br />
<br />
And what better to have your niece to help around. She loved painting her T-shirt along with me.<br />
<br />
So here are the step by step. <br />
<br />
This is her old black Tshirt. I inserted a news paper in between the two layers to protect the paint from seeping through.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhp642HNpEI8H_d4X35n0W-9hYm9CQu48JEqDjDfztGtfQQt7fGuRs3pAqlZzOU5rB5iFXkLfU1dmt2URl0dLl2aIpb4QT3VqtHFIVXiQQoBnj33KHAtdCFu3mgoZtqVO8bwMcq6sF7kPc/s1600/place-news-paper_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhp642HNpEI8H_d4X35n0W-9hYm9CQu48JEqDjDfztGtfQQt7fGuRs3pAqlZzOU5rB5iFXkLfU1dmt2URl0dLl2aIpb4QT3VqtHFIVXiQQoBnj33KHAtdCFu3mgoZtqVO8bwMcq6sF7kPc/s1600/place-news-paper_Fotor.jpg" height="400" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Then I poured metallic fabric paint - copper and silver (copper on two sides silver in the middle) on a plastic sheet (so it can be disposed off) <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0qH8UtDSJ0RSmxYOXj6NDPLADo8zNavH87cPUSBmjRIohkFtrVzGc5n3HVgIdrFdkPa2_8_cdaftNEv2gDFJDRCpweuOK6gvH_JVOhc2clzzCo-A8Ex4RkmeTW9j9gUFTMLDsYfr3B-4/s1600/colors-on-sheet_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0qH8UtDSJ0RSmxYOXj6NDPLADo8zNavH87cPUSBmjRIohkFtrVzGc5n3HVgIdrFdkPa2_8_cdaftNEv2gDFJDRCpweuOK6gvH_JVOhc2clzzCo-A8Ex4RkmeTW9j9gUFTMLDsYfr3B-4/s1600/colors-on-sheet_Fotor.jpg" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>
and rolled a roller over it to mix the shades.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUVVsNedVf5XeVX4D6pifDp3mFvnmWr1-RHr-CxTam8p2cbGzJN957omZ90Y_RSunmvT2zCUyE50RFGnNQSCL6pTDBURJlND3DKbM913_ezTPiRR7t6p001qybYOEsBoSc2-U2Uavu9aI/s1600/roll-colors.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUVVsNedVf5XeVX4D6pifDp3mFvnmWr1-RHr-CxTam8p2cbGzJN957omZ90Y_RSunmvT2zCUyE50RFGnNQSCL6pTDBURJlND3DKbM913_ezTPiRR7t6p001qybYOEsBoSc2-U2Uavu9aI/s1600/roll-colors.jpg" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>
<br /><span id="goog_1582330697"></span>
<span id="goog_1582330697"></span><span id="goog_1582330698"></span><br />
<br />
Once the roller was full of paint I rolled it on the T-shirt. One in the center, then left and right. So I had a nice square multicolor patch of metallic shades.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAVIm9X5LLkvH9JL0dedc7KnP39TwB5gDPAU6LunbhqXsWUqB94ixFVNTm6EpJCKPFr9ELzTphVCh4tuUHsiN123yl2_aKzJKcfmrvrriFFv5GC1z4DQg0P_LFZI8G490ebmqSNuAq8MM/s1600/rollingontshirt.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAVIm9X5LLkvH9JL0dedc7KnP39TwB5gDPAU6LunbhqXsWUqB94ixFVNTm6EpJCKPFr9ELzTphVCh4tuUHsiN123yl2_aKzJKcfmrvrriFFv5GC1z4DQg0P_LFZI8G490ebmqSNuAq8MM/s1600/rollingontshirt.jpg" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
I then had a design downloaded from the net a while back which I cut into shape. Just the outline.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjy-S5HEFYMzAYY4frlZz9c4vsoWkQ8PxQEYtDCDeRN6OXzqwhlnp0DfSLdnxtNHP4_0jloEkei8J7Op_vzCFuI5eFU9x0tamSXSzhzTZ4aurgg9UqHW-WcyQJ2aborWF-x4fy-B7Wvklk/s1600/reference.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjy-S5HEFYMzAYY4frlZz9c4vsoWkQ8PxQEYtDCDeRN6OXzqwhlnp0DfSLdnxtNHP4_0jloEkei8J7Op_vzCFuI5eFU9x0tamSXSzhzTZ4aurgg9UqHW-WcyQJ2aborWF-x4fy-B7Wvklk/s1600/reference.jpg" height="320" width="239" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<br />
I placed the cut design in the center of the patch and used dry flat brush with black paint in broad strokes all around the design.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXX0LrHjDkJG-8m_1zaF0_I1i3HiZ4SEp_Z5fvHPKpIBgHCdNrfbLecd5uMhbL5FLJ9Osxgf7d6395Mebuccl0OnYkNwXA2szQQfK8a1QqEFk8-t5-Jz-rehM6CQBYV9MGPAF1jYzNVX0/s1600/place+stencil+on+top.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXX0LrHjDkJG-8m_1zaF0_I1i3HiZ4SEp_Z5fvHPKpIBgHCdNrfbLecd5uMhbL5FLJ9Osxgf7d6395Mebuccl0OnYkNwXA2szQQfK8a1QqEFk8-t5-Jz-rehM6CQBYV9MGPAF1jYzNVX0/s1600/place+stencil+on+top.jpg" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
Once done this is how it looks. Leave it to dry.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgezwyIEFYlwwx4Vuq80wOPPSk7PAE8IR5HzS8dhIJU65WyL7mt1dIQFcLQu0a3cc26vwWHMadzDJ89oxA2RSAxXIAwonDqRuRGk-g9rz-1AyNZwXc-Ny8J2Xm4g8man_AHTK3EEZtQqqc/s1600/stencil-outline-done_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgezwyIEFYlwwx4Vuq80wOPPSk7PAE8IR5HzS8dhIJU65WyL7mt1dIQFcLQu0a3cc26vwWHMadzDJ89oxA2RSAxXIAwonDqRuRGk-g9rz-1AyNZwXc-Ny8J2Xm4g8man_AHTK3EEZtQqqc/s1600/stencil-outline-done_Fotor.jpg" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Then either you can create the lines free hand or use a white carbon and trace out the inside lines.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsBs96evmnfQVvRDLU-Nb-AoP2EhlIfHKPG1YQ3UTTyl3v38uBeZk2Po03MAc0yq3XXaYzbDcmb80jJudkV3rQo-5fVy3lsmMWxrHbJo-9JtkLQ7hLqfgj2YR0OetRmmkDO_ZOYxzLiRA/s1600/carbon_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsBs96evmnfQVvRDLU-Nb-AoP2EhlIfHKPG1YQ3UTTyl3v38uBeZk2Po03MAc0yq3XXaYzbDcmb80jJudkV3rQo-5fVy3lsmMWxrHbJo-9JtkLQ7hLqfgj2YR0OetRmmkDO_ZOYxzLiRA/s1600/carbon_Fotor.jpg" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHrhbPWi4m3PBsRj8RQyboj1inyrEcKAbJvsOvpZAFwRCtVAC5sxiaAcJRzoox0OFvjF5Sm3Cvrl1h5dAcW_B1CcIywUQTzLSKyrTN3pJ40082pn7jZ9lJC4kIYS7la3t1L26i70gL450/s1600/after-carbon_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHrhbPWi4m3PBsRj8RQyboj1inyrEcKAbJvsOvpZAFwRCtVAC5sxiaAcJRzoox0OFvjF5Sm3Cvrl1h5dAcW_B1CcIywUQTzLSKyrTN3pJ40082pn7jZ9lJC4kIYS7la3t1L26i70gL450/s1600/after-carbon_Fotor.jpg" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Then I created inner lines in black using the reference.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxY3eJqUYSwHOPPYwsTmfGcU-wIHPjX13l-BFAzSiSGl5z1bneT_jBCA-t5f50W_V5xyyyvc8ByXsZ8BuBBIzpeqo5oFRLJ_pWkZeqc-YSkG2Og6dap9uaddGkX7Zh6B54Vq918X1pgis/s1600/20140711_121206.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxY3eJqUYSwHOPPYwsTmfGcU-wIHPjX13l-BFAzSiSGl5z1bneT_jBCA-t5f50W_V5xyyyvc8ByXsZ8BuBBIzpeqo5oFRLJ_pWkZeqc-YSkG2Og6dap9uaddGkX7Zh6B54Vq918X1pgis/s1600/20140711_121206.jpg" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Next step is to fill in the funky colors within those lines i.e the headgear etc and make it colorful.Let it dry.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9lztLRT9yEvLtHT2sraI1o6EoANGof6zfy1ho0Ro0MFKs3HzSYz0tSWmycgbNGbQfUY-Ie4PW-4Q465zIpGW4vA0QPksrkU2MflAAP5_8TgqchwOtdTurqyJGg53o9hyUfSbR3oaHQtU/s1600/shades1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9lztLRT9yEvLtHT2sraI1o6EoANGof6zfy1ho0Ro0MFKs3HzSYz0tSWmycgbNGbQfUY-Ie4PW-4Q465zIpGW4vA0QPksrkU2MflAAP5_8TgqchwOtdTurqyJGg53o9hyUfSbR3oaHQtU/s1600/shades1.jpg" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>

Hi Arty folks,<br />
<br />
Its my turn at the blog hop organized by Guada (she creates the most amazing mandalas) today. Our theme was Totem Animals. I have always had butterflies in my paintings and to me they meant presence of a spirit guide and of course transformation.<br />
<br />
For this blog hop I created a butterfly in a <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batik" target="_blank">batik</a> effect which is usually seen on cloth. Its an ancient technique and it has been recreated on wood for you. Here is a step by step with pics. I hope you will enjoy making one too.<br />
<br />
First I painted the background with white acrylic on a piece of wood (aka shade of wax) and once dry, I lightly sketched out a design of a butterfly in pencil. I thought of stain glass kind of designs to make it easy and abstract.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh57nZWACTEAvTkV2jjXIolrd7Jsm6hO1vqRrugkL8T1ODL8tXqnmGSSBH8JHRb76n3EefuOt6MSh_2Jq4NlMVVTj8C3c7cD3wlQ8AGT3-Bu9GwIR4QNCey3L3V7LBNHEYsGQSFjpWrnx4/s1600/bg-sketch_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh57nZWACTEAvTkV2jjXIolrd7Jsm6hO1vqRrugkL8T1ODL8tXqnmGSSBH8JHRb76n3EefuOt6MSh_2Jq4NlMVVTj8C3c7cD3wlQ8AGT3-Bu9GwIR4QNCey3L3V7LBNHEYsGQSFjpWrnx4/s1600/bg-sketch_Fotor.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I then poured some crackle medium on the piece and smoothened it out on the full surface. It looks nice and shiny. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjR-FSje0I700c6ThQG9F1Yp3CNBDjkxsSno4Ss-kuCqt0ybTUjFH7uLFDyXX_jmViitWZfluuFqhNz2scquOFpNIb3n3z-traRGxCCL5GUfP6uAqqeyJVJCn4CSnrcsq8R2vcOmWVxM34/s1600/crackle-bgFotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjR-FSje0I700c6ThQG9F1Yp3CNBDjkxsSno4Ss-kuCqt0ybTUjFH7uLFDyXX_jmViitWZfluuFqhNz2scquOFpNIb3n3z-traRGxCCL5GUfP6uAqqeyJVJCn4CSnrcsq8R2vcOmWVxM34/s1600/crackle-bgFotor.jpg" height="400" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I gave it five minutes to react. (You might want to check the instructions on the bottle though) I then proceeded to paint the outlines in black acrylic color (I used the flowey kind by Hobby Ideas a local brand and not the ones in tubes as they are oil based) The lines can be uneven and I worked quickly. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihGDVWZ74fKjHoch4a_1BN4oMAZq_ZJlhDqhVlnZeyeKlvHSiJ61InprZY7nYTtrqChfVZh05Hi7BtM3kj_cWOO1ddymo7KdkYd5fVUu4rhjYicVD_Cjmp8oaoJy2lXu_3JttA-hCQzuQ/s1600/black-border_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihGDVWZ74fKjHoch4a_1BN4oMAZq_ZJlhDqhVlnZeyeKlvHSiJ61InprZY7nYTtrqChfVZh05Hi7BtM3kj_cWOO1ddymo7KdkYd5fVUu4rhjYicVD_Cjmp8oaoJy2lXu_3JttA-hCQzuQ/s1600/black-border_Fotor.jpg" height="316" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I then started to fill in the colors (slightly diluted with water) in the body, the border and the background. I used a flat brush and started filling in colors. Tip - Don't over lap the colors or they will cover the cracks.I had some 20 minutes to finish this before the crackling effect would stop. The piece has started showing crack marks as I was working as the it was quite warm and windy. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Once dry I used a watery white and some black to enhance the outline of the butterfly.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello sweet souls</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This is my 100th post BTW and I spent so much unnecessary time to think about the perfect 100th post. And I realized it was just another silly reason to procrastinate. Yes 100 is good. A century is a century. Its been a long time since I last wrote and I want to simply share whats brewing around me.<br />
<br />
I looked back on my life when I was thinking about what to write and I realized one single thing. I realized I live my dream. I love the life I live. Creative, Compassionate,Radiant, Spiritual. My work is not really work that I would dread. I create therefore I am. And I enjoy the energy I bring in. There is peace. And I truly believe "The goal behind every goal should be Peace" Else the goals are just a way to distract oneself from our true life purpose. I am blessed to be living in this constant space of happiness and peace quite contrary to my 20 years of working at a corporate job. I did the scary thing that any one rarely attempts i.e say good bye to it and step into a life of uncertain situations because it was killing my soul. Slowly and gradually. And this dream that I had is now actually a reality. I embraced and danced with my dream. And my dreams have wings. So we fly and visit places and meet friends. I love the universe for showing me this lovely path. Thank you Thank you Thank you. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Many of you know I am taking this course <a href="http://tinyurl.com/jwrqk26" target="_blank">Dancing With your Dreams</a> by <a href="https://www.facebook.com/amy.b.otoole?fref=ts" target="_blank">Amy Burke O'Toole</a>. She is a wonderful soul and my first Artist FB friend. I had no clue how this worked and I was on FB because I began 29faces. She is special. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
She put up a wonderful line up of teachers for this course. Believe me. I have had such a great time. It has really given me wings. Thats why I say I fly. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here are the latest artworks from the class. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This one is a class on Archetypes by <a href="http://claudiaolivos.com/" target="_blank">Claudia Olivos</a>. I was introduced to Claudia's energy during AIMS workshop. She is an amazing teacher and her energy is absolutely stunning. I love the way she teaches and never holds back and no ego. I had never painted on a black background. So this was a challenge. So yay to wings. Trying out new things. And doing it again. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

This one is a lovely class by <a href="http://www.shellypenko.com/" target="_blank">Shelly Penko</a>. I was always a fan of her Art so I was thrilled to bits when I saw her name on the list. And her process involved symbols. yay. something that was on my mind. Talk about synchronizations. Here is my finished Canvas. I wish I had taken a bigger one though. I love it so much. It has a compass with words around it. The flower became a butterfly like it can happen in dreams. The fish looks naughty and it is my zodiac sign. </div>

And a very very happy news. Amy had nominated my name for the <a href="https://uc112.infusionsoft.com/go/BT/Prerna" target="_blank">Bloom True</a> e-workshop by Flora Bowley. Annnnnnddddd I got selected..... I was speechless (still am), and thrilled. She remembered I had her book on my wish list. We have began the journey and it is already so exiting. So keep in touch because I will share the lovely journey with you. My studio might just start resembling a war zone in a good way. </div>

It’s easy! </span></b></b></div>
<b>
</b>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', Trebuchet, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', Trebuchet, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;"></span><br />

<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', Trebuchet, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;">1. Make sure you have a Paypal account. All pattern transactions happen through Paypal, and Craftsy requires that you have a Student, Premier, or Business account in order to sell patterns.</span></div>
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', Trebuchet, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;">
</span><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', Trebuchet, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;"></span>

<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', Trebuchet, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;">2. Put your pattern in .pdf format. You can’t upload any patterns to the <a href="http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=597357&u=818122&m=29190&urllink=&afftrack=" style="color: #1155cc;" target="_blank">online pattern store</a> unless they’re a .pdf file format, so if they’re currently saved as a Word doc, .jpg, or other file format, you must convert it to a .pdf before you upload it to Craftsy.</span></div>
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', Trebuchet, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;">
</span><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', Trebuchet, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;"><div style="text-align: justify;">
3. Include a photo. All patterns must have at least one photo to accompany them, but you can add up to five photos. Colorful, interesting photos tend to work the best for catching our members’ eyes!</div>
</span><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', Trebuchet, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;"><div style="text-align: justify;">
4. Fill out the pattern description. We will ask you some basic questions around your pattern making it easier for Craftsy folk to find your pattern and know what your pattern is for. Make sure you have info about your pattern handy for this step.</div>

<br />
Ready?????<br />
<br />
Here is what you will need.<br />
<br />
<b>FOR the wiggly eyes</b><br />
A thick white paper<br />
Black/Blue Beads<br />
Empty blister packet of capsules<br />
Glue<br />
Scissor<br />
<br />
<b>For the face</b> - you guessed it.<br />
A CD<br />
Some acrylic paints<br />
Some treads to hang<br />
Beads for Earrings<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLuFWx_YGBR_oe8usRZMu7HqMipW6jZu_-HGBuhVAueph15QEqf22HKdECGLt_uGrjfJo_USDPlxt85ZWftvdhWqttMZTHfSBpNHk_2EJWCx7QZEkNBLMiRTwxIobzy0hNSlTCUtMtQ8I/s1600/MATERIAL_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLuFWx_YGBR_oe8usRZMu7HqMipW6jZu_-HGBuhVAueph15QEqf22HKdECGLt_uGrjfJo_USDPlxt85ZWftvdhWqttMZTHfSBpNHk_2EJWCx7QZEkNBLMiRTwxIobzy0hNSlTCUtMtQ8I/s1600/MATERIAL_Fotor.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"><u>For the wiggly eyes</u></span></b><br />
<br />
Cut the empty capsule into single pieces like below. remove extra foil etc from behind and gently even out the hollow part of the blister.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQ_ewhrKQChsX3DJteWM5eYzrqZt6DKkBY7AuzxW0cfzZmHoOCOvoP8jbuzkEGy9p3J-F68iESs8oiKgS9jvV8XciYWX_UkBMDDWAohRk7kKg79g5ykKMXD9JXA6CPbR2tYR3NtOKa15g/s1600/cut_wm.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQ_ewhrKQChsX3DJteWM5eYzrqZt6DKkBY7AuzxW0cfzZmHoOCOvoP8jbuzkEGy9p3J-F68iESs8oiKgS9jvV8XciYWX_UkBMDDWAohRk7kKg79g5ykKMXD9JXA6CPbR2tYR3NtOKa15g/s1600/cut_wm.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
Now apply glue on the back side of each capsule.Be careful not to apply too much and also at the far outer edges.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzVdv4KpaHZ96cuu3C9zf-yHEcKgkhz7jfVzRG8jLq9qrEqlh9eeYCPd__wz2QAooJiYI6rPcoh66rlXbqHmsESmCAIlzldqjSBjCTOrbKo_QXExNcUkDH5_owj1P7fruxxAvipQzAsMM/s1600/glue_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzVdv4KpaHZ96cuu3C9zf-yHEcKgkhz7jfVzRG8jLq9qrEqlh9eeYCPd__wz2QAooJiYI6rPcoh66rlXbqHmsESmCAIlzldqjSBjCTOrbKo_QXExNcUkDH5_owj1P7fruxxAvipQzAsMM/s1600/glue_Fotor.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Place the paper (I used an old envelope) on a flat surface and place the beads. Cut them and corner the edges.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEia7kRq-o9FjDzQmxiyKUvUjWC885zAwRknBzc2gBAZZb_VmIF4zrvEsSsG6KQLYJUrWpzUQ3O-QL0Ca1qHsQtRan60Q0q4mxTC8CYMYma_JC4U4EECVQJ8kfzW0JOIRlE9-_dO29P_554/s1600/paperonflat_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEia7kRq-o9FjDzQmxiyKUvUjWC885zAwRknBzc2gBAZZb_VmIF4zrvEsSsG6KQLYJUrWpzUQ3O-QL0Ca1qHsQtRan60Q0q4mxTC8CYMYma_JC4U4EECVQJ8kfzW0JOIRlE9-_dO29P_554/s1600/paperonflat_Fotor.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
Place the previously cut and glued individual empty capsule pieces on top of each bead. (ensure the bead is small and can move within. Press the sides a bit. Leave them to dry.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTQ1mczX5QKs-RDgksTE6N5gVE_FhOqib_8mSn_smarPem8n1LM6kHYIdq3UkVSJch0Y0a0LdlfT1-zSk0anHbcU5Ek9wlu8_Hzub4RKrQ90Tq51YnoZheFZK9lJCARZrlC7BHC9ws8nk/s1600/stick_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTQ1mczX5QKs-RDgksTE6N5gVE_FhOqib_8mSn_smarPem8n1LM6kHYIdq3UkVSJch0Y0a0LdlfT1-zSk0anHbcU5Ek9wlu8_Hzub4RKrQ90Tq51YnoZheFZK9lJCARZrlC7BHC9ws8nk/s1600/stick_Fotor.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Cut out each eye with the paper at the bottom. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikuueKlJqLZjWqNfGr0qDy9qMsbvY1cVO4IgbAt-zaTrj2rN5J4le8t1Fs2qaT_mTDZOLY4PRRX_KjsedbIMmi_TOaegDoX1dNG0fxYWNcRb1NaRYiblYIzvGtEiKnxv2vbckuAI_QdOI/s1600/cut-extra-paper_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikuueKlJqLZjWqNfGr0qDy9qMsbvY1cVO4IgbAt-zaTrj2rN5J4le8t1Fs2qaT_mTDZOLY4PRRX_KjsedbIMmi_TOaegDoX1dNG0fxYWNcRb1NaRYiblYIzvGtEiKnxv2vbckuAI_QdOI/s1600/cut-extra-paper_Fotor.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
Cut off the extra paper and round off the corners. yay your wiggley eyes are ready.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-bE12x8MeBODa71alPp_uDWs_WmeuVMPbLBS07W-WXbrpcNEvFD9ueXnwJN3wV4WMgN8U_GjOdLZwqIq5-9e5C47CszY5RXBStB30SqMO2etThNbPV8eEwIU6BhUPsKg2QspKJm9omNo/s1600/corners_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-bE12x8MeBODa71alPp_uDWs_WmeuVMPbLBS07W-WXbrpcNEvFD9ueXnwJN3wV4WMgN8U_GjOdLZwqIq5-9e5C47CszY5RXBStB30SqMO2etThNbPV8eEwIU6BhUPsKg2QspKJm9omNo/s1600/corners_Fotor.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Now paint the CD in any shape and shades you like. This is how I do it to save time. Quick drops of acrylic color on one CD. Place another CD and a moosh and mash and swish and turn the second CD and you have a set. (yes the same way we made the dream catchers) Let them dry.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhC-1AVjn56bayJyJCIBghnj4CLlWPcT_kUuIvg17lTkGsfEfNxl5b9J1oo9qZ3mzHEblcGKWo80aZ5hugVIiRGLn0Uzqr9j50U3HR7aaVN8yl40qobV_FWXC6YSNDs3HrKHVR-QiV4EYU/s1600/cd-color_Fotor_Collage_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhC-1AVjn56bayJyJCIBghnj4CLlWPcT_kUuIvg17lTkGsfEfNxl5b9J1oo9qZ3mzHEblcGKWo80aZ5hugVIiRGLn0Uzqr9j50U3HR7aaVN8yl40qobV_FWXC6YSNDs3HrKHVR-QiV4EYU/s1600/cd-color_Fotor_Collage_Fotor.jpg" height="400" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Now Paste the eyes on the CD the way you like it. Experiment with the positions and spacing of the eyes. Paint features with black acrylic paint. I used the center of the CD to make the mouth. Two different placings of eyes and features make it funky. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitHr4lhcnfdsMCNzAOw_ZXKQh3Pf8cyok7PfliHIXOvSLt3XOQ9KeKy4F0vos6wvTbREgjpZqnBn-T5lQeUMgX3z2fFI22nI_jaTb_AA2dFSzuUirzM406UsEpglUCouCMdzPqECPZGqw/s1600/paint-features2_Fotor_Collage_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitHr4lhcnfdsMCNzAOw_ZXKQh3Pf8cyok7PfliHIXOvSLt3XOQ9KeKy4F0vos6wvTbREgjpZqnBn-T5lQeUMgX3z2fFI22nI_jaTb_AA2dFSzuUirzM406UsEpglUCouCMdzPqECPZGqw/s1600/paint-features2_Fotor_Collage_Fotor.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Now to make the hanging and the earrings. I applied glue and placed a looped thread at the top and two threads on the side. Sandwiched the second CD and attached a couple of clips to ensure the glue holds. Once dry I used a silver ring to be added earrings. Cut off the excess of the earrings thread and the funny figures are ready.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hello soul sisters<br />
<br />
My latest post is about making easy Mandalas that interestingly look like <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bidriware" target="_blank">Bidariware Art</a> from Karanataka. Traditionally it is a very delicate and intricate work and goes through a lengthy process. The products are gorgeous and are aptly called black beauty. Just to give you a taste of India I am showing you how to be inspired and replicate it right from the comfort of your home. No special equipments needed. Even kids can make them. Its that simple.<br />
<br />
A sneak peek at what they look like and how you can use them. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiH2kDShH6K_if-rLwXU72C0EbXyRkHa6npnq1uKAe6LtWGRKXpBvsEYBW89ZXTikrliN1EPyjVF0cDOtou1w8Oln5KIsJUsjVzqiBb7CRu-FCmoKZgbi9NETGy2ZIKEn_TgZ8LAyPFPbo/s1600/bidar-mandala_Fotor_Collage_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiH2kDShH6K_if-rLwXU72C0EbXyRkHa6npnq1uKAe6LtWGRKXpBvsEYBW89ZXTikrliN1EPyjVF0cDOtou1w8Oln5KIsJUsjVzqiBb7CRu-FCmoKZgbi9NETGy2ZIKEn_TgZ8LAyPFPbo/s1600/bidar-mandala_Fotor_Collage_Fotor.jpg" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Here we go.<br />
<br />
All you need is some CD's, Black paint, a sharp object (old pen/old filer) imagination.<br />
<br />
Simply coat the shiny side of the CD with quick strokes of black. Let it dry. I tried after 30 minutes and also leaving some overnight. It dint matter. But use the shiny side only for best results.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5DaQ71hkytdsXK-QlMynCjhMop_WNgMHJJWzES3T739UIljjkVxxg8Js1EiM5sC4A7gIsQdgLQnRRISvjQmIprX-R9dZ9wqYwMzmqRlOQBiM7Oly6xn6Fo77dwB5_dt-6MGa2wQMCI00/s1600/background_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5DaQ71hkytdsXK-QlMynCjhMop_WNgMHJJWzES3T739UIljjkVxxg8Js1EiM5sC4A7gIsQdgLQnRRISvjQmIprX-R9dZ9wqYwMzmqRlOQBiM7Oly6xn6Fo77dwB5_dt-6MGa2wQMCI00/s1600/background_Fotor.jpg" height="320" width="305" /></a></div>
<br />
Once dry use a sharp tool like an old ball point pen or an old filer. Mark a plus and multiplication sign in the center and also at the edges just to give you an idea of equal spacing. It does not have to be perfect. Since the circle is larger towards the outside I have added one more mark in between the plus and multiplication marks. (Bottom left I have missed a marking - that shows how far apart the markings would be if you dint do the in between marks) You don't have to do this if you just wish to go free hand.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgz0ZhcmStsN8NqxKUoLuGgbsF53rMC8tIvS6Nl8uQIfn5q3mbim04CUm5l3g5k2QOCQfX7_C52TYCE3TGfso3T3BIOSkqmPe_B9gABi5vxV3Ln9UnAUSlBbqrZzrPEw5rX7Zq0BMEyE1w/s1600/measures2_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgz0ZhcmStsN8NqxKUoLuGgbsF53rMC8tIvS6Nl8uQIfn5q3mbim04CUm5l3g5k2QOCQfX7_C52TYCE3TGfso3T3BIOSkqmPe_B9gABi5vxV3Ln9UnAUSlBbqrZzrPEw5rX7Zq0BMEyE1w/s1600/measures2_Fotor.jpg" height="280" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
And go. Simply start creating these pretty pieces.<br />
<br />
Start with the inner circle. Bidari work has a of floral motifs. So I started with a floral pattern. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0RkXndWO2vjxqD7LSapWiKtzBCnq5SAxMt8mX62tCFiGLZ9HE5HD1VsZMraHPHrAF2NznfkJZZDKccacld4-_EdWS8pjsZOvRIxe2qWHOawGiW825K-6Zk8ilyFr5pFQo_qyoEG5QiRs/s1600/progress-1_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0RkXndWO2vjxqD7LSapWiKtzBCnq5SAxMt8mX62tCFiGLZ9HE5HD1VsZMraHPHrAF2NznfkJZZDKccacld4-_EdWS8pjsZOvRIxe2qWHOawGiW825K-6Zk8ilyFr5pFQo_qyoEG5QiRs/s1600/progress-1_Fotor.jpg" height="282" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Added leaf like shapes.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjs4bWxzVExFBHps5UeW0_xnj89ZHVyPsL3no6j9_b8RpiTbbI8xReyqXPIVh_a2JndXuR2ejQV5lndwExn_5tfw2jdvPKiHrt-w4TiIgdH9ZlELnbzkxoap1qfAMDTsBIPC2KL3rusI1Y/s1600/progress-2_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjs4bWxzVExFBHps5UeW0_xnj89ZHVyPsL3no6j9_b8RpiTbbI8xReyqXPIVh_a2JndXuR2ejQV5lndwExn_5tfw2jdvPKiHrt-w4TiIgdH9ZlELnbzkxoap1qfAMDTsBIPC2KL3rusI1Y/s1600/progress-2_Fotor.jpg" height="272" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Extended the leaves Overlapped the leaves and they turned out to be like a large lotus. Some dots and lines inside.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcR0aTD88wZI3wKWhFTGIjsSRXQgZ1oe2XHsNJ-U2rTs95-kkh4XCCM9syUY4DMUXQqLPV27QZaGyeyjipZMPz1RtVO1tG5gq2CNzFRi-fZ2Qz5jqofwhOUgWVnm6HbVIbpRDv6v5DZ6U/s1600/progress-4_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcR0aTD88wZI3wKWhFTGIjsSRXQgZ1oe2XHsNJ-U2rTs95-kkh4XCCM9syUY4DMUXQqLPV27QZaGyeyjipZMPz1RtVO1tG5gq2CNzFRi-fZ2Qz5jqofwhOUgWVnm6HbVIbpRDv6v5DZ6U/s1600/progress-4_Fotor.jpg" height="282" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Added some dots. Thickened some lines to make them broader by scratching them a bit more.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpsK0yXrcqVTPINBto2H3WqkoUKyZ-m4_xrOOJLSvjefIMuV_cAZXby3to-4tRtPpKjqOfUI1JdNAEQxFPt9LtPfiJkwgsFw5dCx2vu1gsdj21XflVItbOx8k4JHzxFf-_pmCt7p-X5xI/s1600/progress-5_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpsK0yXrcqVTPINBto2H3WqkoUKyZ-m4_xrOOJLSvjefIMuV_cAZXby3to-4tRtPpKjqOfUI1JdNAEQxFPt9LtPfiJkwgsFw5dCx2vu1gsdj21XflVItbOx8k4JHzxFf-_pmCt7p-X5xI/s1600/progress-5_Fotor.jpg" height="280" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Here is one more finished piece.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOockfSEr0KSOj2Vxx3eBcRMY9gGTCqrEQaFA0eSiA-48ugwYy2We7L25Bwc2yi6EJFpXZ0CU8Fpuec3WKJShUYpDGfdJ2F3_gD2FSLHW0YrWdcVO7MZqh7FwRUMR8lBTZXExp5vBHZLI/s1600/finished-1_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOockfSEr0KSOj2Vxx3eBcRMY9gGTCqrEQaFA0eSiA-48ugwYy2We7L25Bwc2yi6EJFpXZ0CU8Fpuec3WKJShUYpDGfdJ2F3_gD2FSLHW0YrWdcVO7MZqh7FwRUMR8lBTZXExp5vBHZLI/s1600/finished-1_Fotor.jpg" height="260" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
We are all aware of the therapeutic properties of creating mandalas. They are blissful and one can get engrossed in the personal dialogue while creating them and yet one needs to be mindful while creating because it does have some symmetry and direction and movement while creating.<br />
<br />
Once created these energy pieces can be used for various purpose.<br />
<br />
If you wish simply stick a black paper on the back of the finished piece and write a note or a saying and gift it.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Or</div>
<br />
I super glued three flat metal beads at the bottom at 12Oclock/5Oclock/8O clock positions for it to be able to stand. You could also use some colored stones with a flat back. But these silver ones kind of matched with the whole look.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh00eSqU79Iv8CLMqYBqpvmnYgqEPU5o-7Qdj8kp8hWaXNTs3LulmmizPrx3KYFqzM9ho0uKKFowQcSio_MGWP_OEU-aDMOzVAab5dCj27SWhI9Mc6EMwtD_6Z9pg5AZzGxXNkfIBonMX8/s1600/beadsonback_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh00eSqU79Iv8CLMqYBqpvmnYgqEPU5o-7Qdj8kp8hWaXNTs3LulmmizPrx3KYFqzM9ho0uKKFowQcSio_MGWP_OEU-aDMOzVAab5dCj27SWhI9Mc6EMwtD_6Z9pg5AZzGxXNkfIBonMX8/s1600/beadsonback_Fotor.jpg" height="272" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
and you have a pretty little altar tray<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh603ZixfVJtZhcaTz1SKh1fYVFZBbLYapSGdVhiHbd8laAEPL1R2hpN6-ErE_T5v84Zr-TNq652kB_mJIiYHOK1LZHdzCH6SmJJpVF_3Tt-0Jdro1C2OvjE0UF-I1eLwooqVav0vKLNGQ/s1600/finishedfront_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh603ZixfVJtZhcaTz1SKh1fYVFZBbLYapSGdVhiHbd8laAEPL1R2hpN6-ErE_T5v84Zr-TNq652kB_mJIiYHOK1LZHdzCH6SmJJpVF_3Tt-0Jdro1C2OvjE0UF-I1eLwooqVav0vKLNGQ/s1600/finishedfront_Fotor.jpg" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
to keep your goddess/gods<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKEffdcnN4itz8NCVUekVKnEc4YhzFpLLxE_nj7_7vqlEUJoGaL6vOQthAK6bpcxnWRnr8c8AOUFW5Rfhl4dQFVAkCe0fB6yoPwKF8t_9Tz8TdI_R9i-WvaT2Wgj70y_KBr1bgoJxnPkg/s1600/seat-ganesha_Fotor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKEffdcnN4itz8NCVUekVKnEc4YhzFpLLxE_nj7_7vqlEUJoGaL6vOQthAK6bpcxnWRnr8c8AOUFW5Rfhl4dQFVAkCe0fB6yoPwKF8t_9Tz8TdI_R9i-WvaT2Wgj70y_KBr1bgoJxnPkg/s1600/seat-ganesha_Fotor.jpg" height="258" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Or use it as a incense holder.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Or a candle holder.<br />
<br />

Hi soulful friends.<br />
<br />
NO HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY. We don't need just a day. We are always happy. We are women. We are simply amazing. Every single day. Every single moment.<br />
<br />
Celebrate, have fun spread the goodness.<br />
<br />
Here is my latest for the "IBOCP" I hope you like it.This one is made on reclaimed wood (my 4th one on reclaimed wood)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
Plus I have new marks on my friends and family canvas. My friend visited from Kolkatta. And she had never picked up a brush since school. But she was so thrilled. This is the experience and the joy I want to help people recognize when they embrace creativity. I am so blessed.It reads "May the light Guide us always"<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
