Hi friends,
Hope every one had a great 2012 winding up party full of prayers, meditation, food, wine whatever that made you happy and 2013 is here. A brand new year, and a brand new day 1. I am sharing with you my little mix media artwork which I strongly feel the angels wanted me to share with you as a message to all the lovely women who are reading this (and the men too can read this as a reminder for their loved ones so continue).
This painting is titled : “its your birthday month” Look at it carefully it’s a message for all of us to mark this month in our calendars for ourselves and loved ones. Besides pampering ourselves and celebrating, flowers, love and all things awesome we need to schedule an annual health check up. Why birthday month? Beeeeecaaaauuuseee It’s easier to remember it for scheduling it. Else you will always try to put it off. And if its planned well in advance you will be able to save for it, work towards it, budget it etc and that the and leap year born peeps don’t escape saying oh its not this year. So go ahead and mark your diaries, calendar phone book.
We are so busy doing so many things that we
forget ourselves that we forget to nurture ourselves. We all know prevention is
better than cure. If something is detected earlier it’s so much easier to deal
with rather than the annoying surgeries and painful medications. And remember
its not just you who suffers your family too suffers with you. And if you can’t afford it at least get the
nagging ones done like if you feel you need a mamo or sono whatever. A
stitch in time saves nine right?
This painting came out of the blue, just
like that one fine afternoon. The girl was made already a while back as a black
and white sketch for 29 faces. But now she had a message and that too a
potentially important one. So off I went working on it with old paper, some
tissue papers, some charcoal and it’s now ready to be shared. Yes this has a
blue ribbon just because it’s about over all health.
Love and light
Prerna

You are right, we do tend to put things off unless we schedule them.
I just finished doing those tests we all wish we could put off.
I agree with you DogsMom.I have been in the same boat. But after seeing so much and listening about so many people suffering I just felt its time we took care of ourselves. And not putting it off. Hope the tests were all good for you. And nothing to worry. Sending my prayers and angels and light to be around you.

Maria, thank you so much. Hugs from India. May you have a wonderful 2013
Prerna you know I love your work! Such a wonderful reminder about health to everyone. You know I just had the breast cancer scare so I stand FIRMLY behind you and your words in this post! Please everyone -- who cares if it hurts, is uncomfortable, you have to wait 30 minutes in a crowded waiting room, whatever! An annual mammo found lumps (benign thank God (swt)!!!!) and this was my regularly scheduled exam. What if I didn't nurture myself and get my mammo every year? Thanks for this message, your artwork, and the love and light you spread to everyone you come into contact with! Smooches!!
