Hey my lovely Arty friends,
It's been a long time since I managed to create. I did manage to finish this painting I started last year and usual it did have rather interesting message.
Life is at times not a bed of roses but.... It could be a shower of roses and we may completely miss the blessings unless we are in a state of gratitude. The feathers are a reminder that no matter what the angels or gods or whoever we have faith in are with us. Always.
I had originally planned to paint a glass of wine half empty next to the girl, but some how the muse resisted and I had to rework after I pulled Jodi Chapman's soul clarity card which read "go with the flow" and yes this is how the feathers and the background colours emerged. Little did I realize that when I was discussing this with friends some one mentioned ooh the glass is always full, the empty is full of air. Ahhhhh ok. So there it was. Two lessons in one day I suppose.
I paint intuitively and love the process. The surprise and the joy it brings to me.
