When you Dance with your Dreams you actually fly.

Hello sweet souls

This is my 100th post BTW and I spent so much unnecessary time to think about the perfect 100th post. And I realized it was just another silly reason to procrastinate. Yes 100 is good. A century is a century. Its been a long time since I last wrote and I want to simply share whats brewing around me.

I looked back on my life when I was thinking about what to write and I realized one single thing. I realized I live my dream. I love the life I live. Creative, Compassionate,Radiant, Spiritual. My work is not really work that I would dread. I create therefore I am. And I enjoy the energy I bring in. There is peace. And I truly believe "The goal behind every goal should be Peace" Else the goals are just a way to distract oneself from our true life purpose. I am blessed to be living in this constant space of happiness and peace quite contrary to my 20 years of working at a corporate job. I did the scary thing that any one rarely attempts i.e say good bye to it and step into a life of uncertain situations because it was killing my soul. Slowly and gradually. And this dream that I had is now actually a reality. I embraced and danced with my dream. And my dreams have wings. So we fly and visit places and meet friends. I love the universe for showing me this lovely path. Thank you Thank you Thank you.

Many of you know I am taking this course Dancing With your Dreams by Amy Burke O'Toole. She is a wonderful soul and my first Artist FB friend. I had no clue how this worked and I was on FB because I began 29faces. She is special.

She put up a wonderful line up of teachers for this course. Believe me. I have had such a great time. It has really given me wings. Thats why I say I fly.

Here are the latest artworks from the class.

This one is a class on Archetypes by Claudia Olivos. I was introduced to Claudia's energy during AIMS workshop. She is an amazing teacher and her energy is absolutely stunning. I love the way she teaches and never holds back and no ego. I had never painted on a black background. So this was a challenge. So yay to wings. Trying out new things. And doing it again.

This one is the Queen.

I was so inspired by the style that I created one more for the Infinite Buddhas of Compassion Project.

This one is a lovely class by Shelly Penko. I was always a fan of her Art so I was thrilled to bits when I saw her name on the list. And her process involved symbols. yay. something that was on my mind.  Talk about synchronizations. Here is my finished Canvas. I wish I had taken a bigger one though. I love it so much. It has a compass with words around it. The flower became a butterfly like it can happen in dreams. The fish looks naughty and it is my zodiac sign.

And a very very happy news. Amy had nominated my name for the Bloom True e-workshop by Flora Bowley. Annnnnnddddd I got selected..... I was speechless (still am), and thrilled. She remembered I had her book on my wish list. We have began the journey and it is already so exiting. So keep in touch because I will share the lovely journey with you. My studio might just start resembling a war zone in a good way.

Be blessed. See ya soon.
Much love and light

2014 I am embracing a Label (and the word of the year too) and it is in tune with my life right now

Hello Angels

I shared earlier that I am delighted to be able to take the course Dancing with your Dreams thanks to my dear friend Amy (god bless you Amy for sending a me a friend request last year it was like making a new friend on your first day at school). She was my first online friend from overseas and she has been so very kind and helpful. I just love her energy.

So our first session was about changing labels with Jacqueline Gates. I had been following her for a while now on her blog and absolutely loved her approach. She talks about choosing our labels and changing our life. And its very beautiful approach.

The audio and the video opened up a host of feelings - good bad ugly and what not. I thought about the labels I had taken up because I used to admire those people and boy how very wrong some of it was. The labels I gave my self - blah the inner critic. The labels people attached to me - again good bad ugly - all kinds. And then a process finding the labels to identify with who I actually was began and again the inner critic decided to jump and scare me.

So after a few weeks I did muster up the courage to speak to her one on one and see if she could help me with my label. And by then this whole energy of Buddha and Ganesha were already floating into my orbit. I was leaning towards, creative, compassionate, curious, inspiration (my name means inspiration and it also means in-spirit) as my labels. And we kept talking about the various words and feelings that came up and she came up with this amazing line for my label "CATALYST FOR CREATIVE COMPASSION" and it goes so well with my journey so far (Which has been good bad ugly - all included) I would so recommend you check her out. I know many of you are into word of the year (mine was unblock btw) and you will so love this too.

Here is my Buddha for the Infinite Buddhas of Compassion project. Acrylic on Canvas.

I would love you like minded folks to join me on this journey. We have a FB group too. And linky for your blog if you wish.

And in case you missed this - its the dream catcher from Dancing With my Dreams workshop taught by the lovely Claudia Olivos. I am yet to complete my lessons on Nightmares and Village. Its a fun fun fun workshop. This now hangs in my studio.

Scribbling isn't just child's play - Its for grownups too.

Hi lovelies,

Its been a loooooong time.

Back again after long cuz its pretty darn difficult to type with one hand at the speed of thought. All is well now (I had a broken wrist - left hand)

My one functional wrist meant restricted art. But no art meant a restless soul. So I had to find a way to Art. And then I remembered my Creative Fit Coaching. It was not so long ago that Whitney had coaxed us to scribble in one of her coaching sessions. So scribble I did. It was not about creating pretty pictures but letting my heart and soul connect and the scribbles would have their own messages and meanings for me.

I remember I scribbled as child.I rediscovered scribbles during the creatively fit program.

I remember I scribbled when I was on the phone.

I also remember I scribbled while I was at work and sometimes in a conference or meeting table. And heck contrary to anyones belief I still retained all the talks during those conferences. In fact they helped me actually concentrate more.

I could scribble with just about any pen and paper at my work desk. I scribbled when I was pissed. While I would be silently listening to the person complaining away. And I would tell them go on. Don't mind my scribbling. Thats the only way I can objectively listen.

And the scribbles came back to me again. And thats when I understood it was a form of a creative outlet for me. A beginning of a journey. I discovered the joy of scribbling with water colors during the Creatively Fit coaching.  It was so much fun.

So I remembered the scribbles from the creatively fit lessons and scribbled away to glory with my one hand and I have been a happy soul. It helped me lift my spirits.

Don't let anyone tell you scribbling is for kids. Its way too much fun. You can scribble anywhere. Anytime and you can scribble for a short while and actually feel your energy shift. Whitney has some magical programs. you can check them out here.

So on the agenda are many many new things. But the most exiting is my dear friend Amy's offering "Dancing with your Dreams" She has put together a gorgeous line up of such energetic teachers. The combination is a dream come true. The first lesson is already released and there have been some yummy treats. I wont let the secret out. You need to go check it for yourself.

Stay tuned as I have some new products lined up, some new posts and I was thinking some DIY's. Its time to share.

Much love and light being sent your way.
