Blog hop is here. Check out my Egyptian style face on T-shirt

Hi Angels

Time flies and we have another blog hop. I am so exited to be a part of this blog hop because it has my favorite topic "Faces". I absolutely love drawing and painting faces. Also I love make overs. So here is a lovely project that I feel you all might enjoy.

And what better to have your niece to help around. She loved painting her T-shirt along with me.

So here are the step by step.

This is her old black Tshirt. I inserted a news paper in between the two layers to protect the paint from seeping through.

Then I poured metallic fabric paint - copper and silver (copper on two sides silver in the middle) on a plastic sheet (so it can be disposed off)

and rolled a roller over it to mix the shades.

Once the roller was full of paint I rolled it on the T-shirt. One in the center, then left and right. So I had a nice square multicolor patch of metallic shades.

I then had a design downloaded from the net a while back which I cut into shape. Just the outline.

I placed the cut design in the center of the patch and used dry flat brush with black paint in broad strokes all around the design.

Once done this is how it looks. Leave it to dry.

Then either you can create the lines free hand or use a white carbon and trace out the inside lines.

Then I created inner lines in black using the reference.

Next step is to fill in the funky colors within those lines i.e the headgear etc and make it colorful.Let it dry.

Then comes the detailing. criss cross lines, details, eyes and yay we are done.

Here is my lovely happy niece flaunting her T-shirt.

I hope you enjoyed the step by step process of painting the T-shirt. Please leave a comment and I will choose a winner once the blog hop is over. Any one who comments stands a chance to win a hand painted pendant shown below. Be sure to leave your email id or some way to contact you.

Also don't forget to visit other participants.

Much love and light.
